Advanced Management Development Program
The Advanced Management Development Program (AMDP) includes interactive classroom sessions, group discussions, presentations and study visits to public or private organizations in Thailand. The program contents are designed as learning sessions plus user-oriented practice sessions facilitated by key resource personnel. Necessary text books/lecture notes to enhance learning will be provided. Participants are expected to participate actively in discussion sessions with group discussion and presentation sessions.
The program is aimed at providing the essential leadership knowledge & skills, ways of strengthening self & others and the ability to develop independent, critical thinking, and reasoning skills to identifyand improve personal leadership competencies.
Founded in 1965, Siam University is a non-profit, private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Bangkok. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand, Siam University is a large (with more than 15,000 students) coeducational Thai institution. Siam University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
Day 1: Opening, ice breaking and photo shoot; Successful leadership; Leadership for high performance and Role of the leader in the success of an organization
Day 2: Role of the leader in choosing & connecting and Decision making
Day 3: Site visit / cultural visit
Day 4: Leading teams for effective performance; Functions and dynamics of effective leadership;
Strategies for driving change; Mastering complexity and plurality.
Day 5: Reflecting the purpose as a leader; Aligning personal goals with the goals of the organization; Presentation session by participants and certificate award.
Professional Training Unit
Siam University has a separate institute to provide short-term training needs/professional training needs of different participants. The unit consists of highly experienced industrial and academic experts to cater each request. Further, all of short-term training courses are developed in close consultation and cooperation with the group of experts.The Training unit identifies trends and developments and translates these into improvements and adjustments to the training courses and the introduction of new programs. Responding to the requirements of a changing environment implies constantly redefining the training center’s programs, reworking the contents in the light of the objectives, designing methods best suited to the individual needs of the trainees, and putting these new methods and ways of working into practice. Our present capacity of short-term training is 120 participants per month.
