LAN concludes "Provincial Level Capacity Development Program for Dalit and Aadivashi Janajati NGOs" in Kathmandu, Bagmati Province on 8-9 of Bhadra. It was officially launched by Provincial State Minister, Honorable Santa Bahadur Chepang. Participants comprised of 28 NGOs from all thirteen districts of Bagmati Province. Training topics were Proposal writing; Advocacy and Public speaking; Leadership Development and Program Planning. Dr. Samar Verma, Program Officer at Ford Foundation, speaking virtually emphasized the importance of such capacity development programs given to disadvantaged communities as a means of empowering them.
